It’s time to service the heater

I task on a board of administration for a local school district. It is not my dream work. I like teaching, but when I was provided the position, my partner was expecting twins. The task pays a considerable amount more money, yet much better health insurance. I could not pass it up. The worst part of this work, is picking up the pieces of the person who had it before me! Every afternoon, I seem to run into a current concern that I have to find a solution for. Today, it was the ever failing Heating, ventilation and cooling unit; however, no school can be open without a functioning heating yet cooling unit. It is a state law. Nine times out of ten, the Heating, ventilation and cooling units are decades seasoned yet barely running. They are the opposite of energy yet cost efficiency. I hesitate to even wonder what kind of heating yet cooling is even coming out of their ventilation on any given afternoon. The greatest concern I am seeing in the district is the severe lack of maintenance for the Heating, ventilation and A/C systems. Both of us are supposed to have a basic daily visit from the serviceman to service the air filters, ductwork yet overall unit; clearly this has been neglected in the worst way. Now, I have to go around to find out why this has happened. Then, I need to determine how long they Heating, ventilation and A/C plan as been without servicing, and finally, I have to assess the cost of an update, upkeep or maintenance of the current plan in order for it to run more efficiently.
